My event music can be shaped to suit the setting, audience, schedule, and energy of the occasion. Possible approaches include:

Kevin Ferguson is an Emmy Award-winning musician, scientist, engineer, inventor with dozens of patents and additional patents pending, and "grounded awe-ist" author of Biosync: Cells to Cosmos. He has released eighteen albums and has performed in a wide range of musical settings, including Playback Theater, improv music for art exhibitions, belly dance, Balkan music, rock, jazz, cover tunes from different eras, Spanish and flamenco-style guitar.
Kevin is currently the music director of Playback Theater, where musicians improvise in response to stories shared by members of the audience as actors act out those stories.

Live Event Experience
Experienced performing background and featured music for art exhibitions, fundraisers, dinners, receptions, theater, belly dance, cool-downs and grounding, cultural events, and other special occasions.
From January through June 2023, Kevin had a recurring engagement at Nicholas Restaurant in Southeast Portland, performing music from the Middle East and other styles, often with percussionist Michael Beach.
Flexible Format
I can provide a defined performance set, music during an arrival or reception period, or a flexible combination of playing and waiting around the needs of the event.
